Sri Guru Harkrishan Public School - Chowk Pragdas

Sri Guru Harkrishan Public School, Chowk  Pragdas, Amritsar was established under the aegis of Chief Khalsa Diwan on August 18,1987. The aim of the school is to impart comprehensive education to enable students to attain their optimum potential. Every effort is made to encourage independence of thought and action, to inculcate self confidence and to make them grow up as right thinking individuals and ideal citizens. The spiritual growth of students is looked after by inculcating in them the true spirit of Sikh traditions. Sikh history and Gurbani are a part of the school curriculum. Gurudwara Sahib is also there in school which is fully A.C. Gurpurabs are also celebrated in the School with great devotion.

The school is situated on Galiara road, near Baba Atal Sahib, facing the lush green lawns   and gardens around Sri Harmandir Sahib. The school is following CBSC Pattern.

• The school has five smart class-rooms to facilitate the learning process.

• The School has a spacious hall to organize educational & cultural functions.
• School is also providing sports facilities like Table tennis, Badminton, Teakwando, Skating etc. students have also won the gold medals and silver medals in CKDCS sports tournament.
