This school was established and situated in rural area in 1998. Old name of this school was Janta Public School. Ms. Pritam Kaur Khalsa is the founder principal of the school from beginning while its name was Janta Public School. The main aim of this institution is to provide a serene ambience rich in latest methodologies and infrastructure that grooms young minds making them aptly strong for challenges of the future. In the light of our goal to develop student’s high standards of morality, ethics and Sikh culture at taught by our great gurus and laid down in the holy Guru Granth Sahib Ji. This school was opened with the help of residents of village Majhwind - Gopalpura on 29/03/1996 in 2 acres of land to fulfill the demand of the region. It was placed under the management of Chief Khalsa Diwan Charitable Society, Amritsar on 28/03/1998. this school is situated at Majhwind - Gopalpura, Batala Road, (about 15 Kms from Amritsar) It is affiliated to CBSE wide code no. 1630346 and has established itself among well known schools with the mission of providing modern and quality education in rural area. This school has a triple storey building. The main block of the school consists of 50 well ventilated rooms. Staff room, art room, music room, computer labs, well furnished library, Physics lab, Chemistry lab, Biology lab, Maths lab, smart classes, and toys for play pen wing also free of cost and computerized administrated block with internet facilities. Charitable hospital, free coaching and stitching centre are also running to help backward and neglected sections of society. With latest teaching methods and dedicated guidance of our teaching staff, all students brought laurels by achieving excellent results. School impart education to the students up to +2 Std with total strength of approx. 850 students. Alongwith the studies, the activities linked with sports, religion and culture also get special emphasis. There is a spacious ground for adequate sports facilities for games like badminton, table tennis, Kho-Kho, Volley ball, basket ball, football and hocked as well as a modern playground for play pen children. House wise competitions are also organized for the divine and spiritual upliftment, a decent well designed Gurudwara building is held in the school campus. Nagar Kirtan and educational tours are also organized every year.
