Infrastructure:-

School is the second home to a child. Shannen The World School has been thoughtfully planned across 2.5 acres of sprawling lush green campus, with state-of-the-art infrastructure and modern teaching tools, amenities and facilities.

The building accommodates spacious and well ventilated classrooms, seminar halls, activity halls, fully equipped latest separate labs for physics, chemistry, biology and computer for students. The school provides state of the art infrastructure and amenities supported by the commitment and experience of the management.

Class Room:-

For Pre Primary Section

The pre-nursery, Nursery and Prep classes are housed in this wing. The entire classroom are made child friendly by painting colorful motifs and characters on the walls, which give them winsome view.

Great efforts have been put by the staff to select an appropriate theme to make children enjoy every moment of their presence in school.

For Primary Section

Comprises grade 1 to 8. The classrooms and educational support facilities have been designed to provide a cheerful ambience with plenty of light, quick accesses to the playground, Computer Lab and all other facilities.

For Secondary and Higher Secondary Section

Comprises grade 9 to 12. The classrooms and enhanced educational support infrastructure facilitate methodical and conceptual delivery and intake of lessons. Natural light, easy accesses to the playground, Science Laboratories are some of the other features.

Computer Lab

Now-a-days computer is not just a subject to learn as a hobby, but has become a necessity for every child in today's world. And this is what STWS wants their students to grow with. Computer in STWS is fun as we impart education, through interactive techniques using computer CD's and other tools. Today, computers are used all over the world. We can find computers in houses, schools, offices, factories, companies and many other places.

They are very useful to us as they can be used for many purposes. They have come to play an important role in our daily lives. So, we can say that the 21st Century is the age of computers and every student should have the knowledge of computer. A computer is an electronic machine and acts like the human brain. There are many advantages of using a computer. Incorporating computer education in schools can inspire students to undertake careers in technology and enhance their understanding of how computer technology impacts people's daily lives. The knowledge acquired in elementary and high school may increase their interest in computer-related fields during their college education.

Science Lab:-

There are countless reasons why schools should provide their students with innovative science lab equipments. After all, almost every part of their lives is or has been affected by science. From the local weather to the food they eat, it plays a vital role.

The intention of most high school curriculum is to ready its students for working or prepare them for higher education. Most colleges and universities demand completion of laboratory courses to be eligible for admission. Studying in this discipline will not only increase their literacy in the field, but also provide a foundation for a future in the scientific and technological labor force.

Science education would not be about science if it did not include opportunities to learn the process. Schools that pride themselves on their innovative approach to teaching know that classroom instruction combined with laboratory experience derives the best results. Evidence shows this method increases mastery of the subject, aids in developing scientific reasoning, and cultivates interest in this subject. The benefit of having innovative science lab equipment in the schools is immeasurable. However, an important one is the critical role it plays in the lives of students. Besides the hands-on experience in lab research and experimentation, students also learn how to make a scientific argument. Writing, reviewing information, using the right language, constructing a logical line of reasoning, and responding to analytical comments are a few of the skills necessary to do this. These are valuable skills to have because of their usefulness in any discipline.

Play Ground:-

Playing at playground in school is not just about letting off steam. It is a vital part of childhood that helps children develop physical strength, coordination and balance. It can also provide opportunities for children to learn and develop:

Social Skills - when they play with other children they learn to communicate, share, collaborate and empathies with others.

Imagination and Creativity - outside play is often open-ended and children need to be creative about what and how games are played.

Thinking and problem solving skills - as children assess risks and tackle new challenges they learn about having a go, persistence and perseverance and the success those attributes can bring. Sense of self - as they master new skills and play with other children they improve their competence and confidence in their own physical and social abilities.

Self care skills - managing physical and social challenges helps children to learn about keeping themselves safe.

Smart Class:-

We all know how helpful it is to remember something that is taught visually to us rather than the one that is read through pages after pages. Just imagine, how beneficial would it be for students to understand a chapter visually in class. The concept of smart class education is indeed a blessing to the students of the 21st Century. Technology is changing the way life functions and if it's for the good, then why not go for it!

Smart classes use all interactive modules like videos and presentations and these visually attractive methods of teaching becomes appealing to students who are already struggling with the traditional method of teaching in a classroom. In fact, smart classes are almost like watching movies as sometimes, animated visuals are used to teach a point. This kind of visual is both eye-catching and young students can easily relate with them.

The possibilities or advantages of smart classrooms are endless. Although adopting such a new concept might be a tough decision for many, but the technology can create a new opening for the education sector.

Canteen:-

The students of KG Section are taught to eat the nutritious food ,eating habits and table manners, so we provide food to them from school only. The menu is sent to the parents for information and reference. For Primary & Secondary students the school has a clean & hygiene canteen where nutritious food is offered. Students also bring their food in their lunch box.

Other:-

Transportation

The school is maintaining an excellent fleet of comfortable, well maintained vans & buses designed as per standards and manned by a well trained driver and personnel sensitized to the needs of small children. Child's safety and comfort are of foremost importance to STWS Management Staff.

Infirmary

The school infirmary is well equipped with all necessary equipment to provide first aid and primary medical care in case of emergencies, with tie-up with area's renowned doctor.

Safety and Security

The campus is under CCTV surveillance and has trained and vigilant security personnel.
