Established in 1994, G.D. Goenka Public School, Vasant Kunj is the brainchild of the G.D. Goenka Group Chairman Shri Anjani Kumar Goenka. He aimed at immortalizing the name of his mother Shrimati Gayatri Devi Goenka and envisioned to provide the students with sound education unheard of before. His innovative execution of plans by Smt. Renu Goenka. Her finesse and sensitivity worked in unison with Shri A. K. Goenka's visionary enterprise, to give the school its present shape and standard.

Today, under the aegis of G.D. Goenka Group, the G.D. Goenka International Schools , are regarded as the centers of educational excellence globally. Meet Technology, the presiding member of the Goenkan classroom. We have been successful in bringing technology to our classrooms with the introduction of interactive Whiteboards or Smart Boards. These allow students to interact with the lesson content while allowing teachers to integrate a range of resources with their lessons.

Computer Lab

A hi-tech computer lab to make the students tech-savvy and to keep them abreast with the latest techniques that teaches not just computer as a subject, but also, the integration of computer skills for learning of other subjects in the curriculum. Swimming Pool

Swimming is a healthy, low-cost activity that you can continue throughout your life. Swimming is a low-impact activity that has many physical and mental health benefits. Swimming is a great workout because you need to move your whole body against the resistance of the water.

For the conduct of swimming activity as well as the practices for preparation of teams, to participate in various competitions, we have swimming pool, the sanitary & hygienic conditions of which are especially taken care. The changing rooms both for girls and boys are spacious and equipped with requisite amenities. Every class has a period allotted for swimming in its time table. A pool is specially designed for our little ones and qualified trained lifeguard to ensure the safety of the child. As an ardent proponent of extracurricular activities for personal growth and development, GDGISJ offers top-of-the-line sports and physical training facilities, as part of its mission to foster a holistic learning experience. Admission Process

Documents required:

• Proof of age (birth certificate).
• Proof of residence address- Electricity Bill/Telephone bill/Current Bank Account Statement/- lease deed made six months prior to the submission of the application from along with an affidavit on stamp paper should be -submitted in case of rental accommodation.
• Vaccination Card
• Four photographs of the child
• One photograph of each parent.
• Latest fee bill of the sibling currently studying in GDGIS.
• Affidavit for first born child.
