"Every organization is established with a purpose to offer quality and improved service. So when the founder of the Presidency Group of Schools Mr. D.Balaji had relocated to Bhongir, he wasn’t satisfied with the existing educational facilities. There began the journey where he along with his wife and close associate worked out on the idea of starting a school for the people residing in Bhongir who wanted a fine balance between feasible and quality education, even if that he had to give up his career as an interior designer. The practical difficulties and the hard learnt lessons of his childhood days were good enough to sow the seeds of inspiration in Mr. Balaji who, then in his pursuit of enhancing educational standards was tireless in his efforts. It didn’t end there. A great follower of Sir APJ Abdul Kalam and his vision for the country’s younger lot, his inner drive enabled him to start a CBSE school named Academic Heights School (with CBSE curriculum) in this rural area. We believe our approach of making the learning process enjoyable will create promising citizens for the country, whose future is after all in their hands.

Our Belief System

Children are not just roll numbers, they are unique individuals.

Each child has a unique brain network which proves crucial in absorbance and response levels to stimuli. It varies from person to person. We are capable enough to understand and respect the unique facts of that child to design methods apt and adequate with respect to their needs.

Every child is talented. Schools just to unlock it and make them use it to good effect.

Schooling is a time when the child discovers what they are good at. They need that mental space to use it effectively and channelize their goals towards that direction.

A school’s role is to develop and individual, not just complete the syllabus.

School is not an assembly line of syllabus and exams. Schools help children understand the meaning of life and develop the muscle to lead life effectively. For this, schools have to expand beyond academics to include life skills, values and habits.

Holistic development is achieved through proper coordination between the life at school and home.

Schools need to enroll and educate parents so that the child is ensured a sense of mental comfort in both school and home, which is in fact conductive to their development.

Schools need an integral approach centred on the child.

Schools need to begin with a vision of the child and then move on with the specific methods to reach the respective goal accordingly. Building design, pedagogy, teachers, curriculum content, activities and examinations – all need to be integrated to achieve this vision."
