Admission

Admission Criteria

• Application for admission to a class should be made on the prescribed admission form appended to the prospectus.
• Admission in other classes is given according to the number of seats.
• The number of seats can be enhanced or reduced by the Admission Committee.
• Admission is given on the basis of written test.
• Admission in any class remains open up to 10th April.
• Rules for Fee Concession - The real brother and sister studying in the institution are granted 50% concession in tuition fee.

Curriculum

The C.B.S.E. pattern is followed in the school. Our curriculum is comprehensive and based on core subjects, facilitating not just knowledge, but also inspiring the students to follow the path of righteousness to imbibe rich, social, ethical and moral values and to inculcate reverence for the higher values of life for developing them into productive and useful citizens of the society. We believe that learning is a dynamic process where each student learns differently. Special coaching classes are arranged for students. Abacus & Vedic Maths

We all know that many Indian primary and secondary school students consider mathematics a very difficult subject. Some students encounter difficulty with basic arithmetical operations. Some students feel it difficult to manipulate symbols and balance equations. We have introduced Abacus and Vedic Maths course for 1st Class to 5th & 6th Class onwards. Through this course we develop mathematical skills in children and strive to get rid of mathematical fear and help students excel in mathematics.                                    

Parents Zone

We keep the parents well-informed regarding the homework and progress of students, through a closely monitored development programme. This helps us to follow remedial measures, as and when required. We encourage a regular and productive communication between parents and the teachers. Parent- Teacher meetings are held at regular intervals.

Rules & Regulations

• The following rules and regulations are to be followed by students at school and home:
• The students should wish their teachers whenever they meet them or pass by them.
• Pay regards to elders.
• You must reach school thirty minutes in advance of the school time.
• Be punctual and regular.
• You should walk in queue while you leave and enter the classroom.
• You should not make noise in the school premises.
• Wear neat and clean uniform daily.
• Your shoes must be polished daily.
• Your nails must be pared.
• Switch off the light and fan whenever you leave the classroom.
• Read newspaper in order to be familiar with current affairs.
• Don’t write anything on the walls and desks.
• Converse in English with your teachers as well as classmates.
• Don’t pluck flowers and branches in the garden.
• Never quarrel with your classmates.
• Your books and notebooks must be covered.
• Be polite to everyone, especially to new comers.
• Discipline must be maintained in the classroom as well as in school campus.
• You should participate in Cultural and Social Activities of school in order to develop your all-round personality.
• Discuss your problems with your teachers without any hesitation.

Library

Library is well stocked with hundreds of books, encyclopedia on various subjects, periodicals and journals to keep the students abreast with current information. Special library periods have been included in the school time table in order to develop in the students an interest for silent reading.                                 

Smart Class

Smart Class concept has been adopted by N.J.S.A. Public Sen. Sec. School. Hi-tech smart interactive projectors and boards are available in the smart class. Smart class empowers the teachers with innovative technology right inside the classroom and provides tools to teach the curriculum topics more effectively. It provides a lively learning platform for students and the teachers with graphics, sound, animations, and videos.

Science Lab

Concepts of science can be properly understood only when students perform the experiments themselves. In order to cater to this need, well equipped Science Lab has been provided.

Computer Lab

Well equipped, Air Conditioned computer labs are being maintained with round the clock internet services, so that teachers and students may get ample opportunity to remain connected and explore the world. The computer lab is equipped with latest hardware and software.

Maths Lab

The school has set up a Maths Lab so as to make mathematical learning interesting and fun. Students work in the Maths Lab to clear the concepts. The lab is fully equipped with all the required materials needed to develop mathematical skills in children and strive to get rid of mathematical fear and help students excel in mathematics.

Music Room

Aesthetically decorated and well equipped music room is available where students are given an opportunity to develop their talent in vocal as well as instrumental music. Our students make us proud by bringing laurels to the institution.

Fine Arts Room

Since colors have an ability to give expression to human feelings, Fine Art room is available where students learn to sharpen their ability of drawing and painting their ideas on canvas.

Activity Room

Physical activity and toys play a very important part in the development of the tiny-tots. Activity based educational techniques are used in the Activity room where Plasma TV is used to show various stories and educational CDs. Building blocks and various scribbling exercises are provided to develop the motor skills of the kids.

Transport

The school provides a sound and safe transport facility. This facility can be availed by paying transport fee. We take every measure possible to ensure that the children travel to and from school every day in a comfortable manner.
