Bhavkunj School is a co-educational English Medium School, affiliated to CBSE, New Delhi and a part of SarvaVidyalayaKelavani Mandal. On 17th April 2017, a vision took shape in the name of Bhavkunj School. Bhavkunj School strives constantly and “VALUE-BASED LEARNING” by strongly believing in a comprehensive and holistic education that instills the values which are ingrained to help foster confidence, direction, and critical thinking skill, leading to the development of well adjusted, adaptable and integrated personalities.

Transportation and Hostel facilities are also provided.

For Indoor games like table tennis, badminton, chess, carom school has an Indoor Stadium.

The dining hall is well furnished and the food provided is cooked keeping in mind taste, hygiene, and health.

The school has the state of the art Library which has around 10000 books with the latest magazines and the school also provides a digital version of the magazines and journals to students.

School is furnished with a composite lab, play area, Basket Ball ground, Skating rink, music room, dance room, and art room.

School provides child-friendly classes with facilities such as air conditioner, equipped with Wi-Fi and smartboard. Students are provided with the latest Tablets for learning

Admission Process

• Pre-Primary
• Primary
• Secondary
• High School / Higher Secondary

Step-1

Parents will have to approach the counselor to obtain the basic information about the school and bus route.

Step-2

Parents have to submit the application to the counselor within a specific time period. After receiving the application form, the counselor will recommend the student for a personal interaction/entrance test. The student has to collect the Test Entry Card (TEC) from the counselor for the entrance test. The student has to appear for the entrance test as per the schedule specified on TEC.

Step-3

On the basis of the result of the entrance test, the parents will receive a Letter of Consent/ Refusal for the admission from the counselor.

Step-4

After receiving a letter of consent from the counselor, the parent has to pay the fee as per the schedule stated in LOC along with all the essential documents for admission.

• At the time of confirmation of admission
• Admission form
• Birth certificate
• Medical form
• Transport form
• 4 (Four) passport size photo of student and parent
• Copy of valid Passport
• At the time of commencement of the academic session
• School leaving certificate
• Original report card

The management reserves the right to have the last word in all matters relating to admission.

Age Criteria for Academic Session 2017-2018

• Nursery – 3 years 6 months on 1st JUNE.
• JR KG – 4 years 6 months on 1st JUNE.
• SR KJ – 5 years 6 months on 1st JUNE.
• 1st STD – 6 years 6 months on 1st JUNE.

Note: For 1st STD we can consider students above 5 years 6 months of age according to the RTE act.

Principal Message

Bhavkunj School we have been trying to bring reformation at many levels.

Socially:

On the social front, my team has been training all the stakeholders to internalize and follow systems and practices that can actually bring reformation around their niche environment. This year we could see a lesser number of students absenting without permission and prior sanctions. We have made interaction a very important step towards this. Our Parent teachers Collaboration and the workshops for parents do drive a clear message about what we expect from our students.

Emotionally

We want our students to be balanced so that they can take better decisions about their life. Our counseling sessions give our students to open up about their fears and apprehensions. We also go the extra mile to meet up with the parents and guardians and counsel them in making the right choices. On this front, we are a long way to go. But the silver lining is that we are approachable to all our stakeholders.

Physically

Our experiential learning programs are a class in itself where our students get to explore the natural setting around them. By doing so they go to the roots that teach them never to forget the basics.

This year our students had the experience to explore aquatic life and forests. During these experiential learning programs, we expect our students to learn how to live on their own and manage themselves with minimum comforts but maximum learning for life. Students love to interact with nature now. It took months to inculcate this.

Finally the Well Being Student

Our team of dedicated staff leaves no stone unturned to remove the fear of exams. The periodic and regular evaluation and spot tests have made our students better orators, creators and athletes and of course Bhavkunj Students. We are still a long way to go in this Reformation Journey.
