Eligibility:

  1. Bachelor’s/ Master’s Degree from Kurukshetra University or a degree of other university recognized by Kurukshetra University as equivalent there to with at least 50% marks (45% for SC/ST candidates) in the aggregate.

       OR

  1. Pass in the final examination conducted by either of the (a) Institute of Chartered Accountants of India or England, or (b) Institute of Cost and Works Accounts of India or England, and (c) Institute of Company Secretaries of India.
  2. There shall be no rounding of percentage of marks from 49.5% and above to 50%.

Note:-  Summer Training

At the end of second semester, all students will have to undergo summer training of 6—8 weeks with an industrial, business or service organization by taking up a project study. The condition of successfully completing the programmes shall not be deemed to have been satisfied unless a student undergoes summer training under the supervision of the department in the organizations as approved by the Department/Faculty from time to time. Each student will be required to submit a project report to the Department for the work undertaken during this period within one month of the commencement of the third semester for the purpose of evaluation in the third semester.

Part-2

During Second year, in addition to compulsory papers and project studies, a students shall have to choose six optional papers in third and six in fourth semester from the list of optional papers announced at the beginning of each semester. The list of optional papers for third and fourth semesters shall confine to the availability of teachers. A student will specialize in two areas by opting 3 papers from each area in 3rd semester and three each in fourth semester.
