Minimum Admission Requirement
A candidate for the degree of Bachelor of Education B.Ed. (H.I.) must have passed a Bachelor's Degree examination of this University in any faculty or a corresponding degree examination of any other University recognized as equivalent thereto and in addition must have
- Kept two terms the first and second (separated over maximum period of 2 consecutive academic years) in a college of Education/College of special education.
- Completed a course of educational and clinical practical work extending over two school terms to the satisfaction of the Head of the Institution in which the candidate is studying, consisting of
- Attendance at minimum 10 Demonstration/Discussion lessons;
- Observation of teaching as directed;
- Practice teaching of not less than 40 lessons distributed over different standards and special education subject (language /Development, School subjects, Speech teaching and Auditory training) in recognized schools selected by the Principal/Director as practicing schools;
- Attendance for the discussion of clinical practice work and of practice teaching.
