Field Work : 

As An Essential Component Of Social Work Studies, Field Work is conducted in definite stages. Prior to commencement Of Concurrent Field Work, students are exposed to field reality through the medium of orientation-visits for students in their out-set and advanced specialisation visits in the second level of their studies. These visits help in building professional knowhow, broader perspective towards issues and updating with the latest developments. The students are able to gain immensely from the work being done with different groups of population (women, children,senior citizens, disabled groups, youth) from the point of varied issues and problems (HIV-AIDS, Health, Education, Unorganised Labour, Rural Development, Self-Help Groups Etc.) The visits are thus carried out at various organisations – at grass-roots, community level, residential institutes and campaigns; such as - Hivre Bazaar, Raleagdh Siddhi, Observation home for boys and girls, KRIPA (De-Addiction Centre), NACS, CASP, Kamla Nehru Hospital, Santulan, MASUM, Nivara Senior Citizens Home, MUSKAN Etc.
