Master of Performing Arts (M.P.A.) (Drama)

Eligibility

The candidate must have passed any stream of graduation from any recognized university listed by UGC with a minimum 50% marks in aggregate in graduation. Minimum Marks for SC/ST/BC and Physically Challenged will be 45%. OR

Any other examination with 50% Marks in aggregate recognized as equivalent to (a) above by the Guru Nanak Dev University.

For each year, every student admitted to the Masters in Performing Arts must be on the rolls of the institution affiliated to the Guru Nanak Dev University shall send his / her admission form and fee for the examination through the Head of the institution accompanied by the following certificates.

a) Of having attended in each paper at least 75% of the total number of lectures in the theory and the practical separately.

b) Of having obtained at least 35% marks in each subject in the internal exams conducted by the institution.

c) Of having good moral character.

4. If a student fails to qualify the above mentioned conditions of eligibility as per ordinances above, he/she would not be allowed to appear in the annual final examination:

    • Basic knowledge of Harmonics.
