   • GIS in Infrastructure Planning (6 weeks)
   • Infrastructure Planning for an Urban Area (9 weeks)

Semester – II

1. Project Formulation, Appraisal, Monitoring & Evaluation
2. Transport Networks and Terminals
3. Infrastructure Development Policies -I
4. Core Courses (Workshop)
   • Comprehensive City Infrastructure Development Plan (9 weeks)
   • Detailed Project Report (DPR) for a Project (6 weeks)
5. Elective Courses (Theory) (Each Student to Opt One paper)
   • Infrastructure Pricing and Financing
   • Infrastructure Management
   • Planning for Special Areas and Mega Projects
   • Information Systems for Infrastructure Planning

Semester – III

1. Principles and Techniques of Regional Planning
2. Infrastructure for Regional Development
3. Telecommunications and Information Technology
4. Regional Development Policies
5. Planning Practice
   • Internship training*(4-6 weeks during summer vacations)
   • Comprehensive Infrastructure Plan of a Region (6 weeks)
   • Infrastructure Plan for Rural Area (5 weeks)
   • Detailed Project Report (DPR) for a Rural Infrastructure (5 weeks)

• Internship shall be undertaken during the summer vacations after the completion of second semester.

Semester – IV

1. Infrastructure Management
2. Research Methods and Quantitative Techniques
3. Planning Practice
4. Educational Tour **
5. Thesis

** Educational Tour shall be undertaken during the third semester.
