M.Sc. (Electronic Media)

Eligibility

Candidates applying for admission to the M.Sc. (Electronics Media) must have B.Sc. (Electronics Media) / B.Sc. IT / B.Sc. (Medical) / B.Sc. (Non-Medical) / B.Sc. (Computer Science / B.Tech. in any discipline,  B.C.A. with minimum of 50% marks.

First Year

1. Web Design and Web Media Production
2. Multimedia Communication System
3. Global Electronics Media and Multimedia Authoring Tools
4. Video and Radio Production
5. Electronics Measurement & Instrumentation
6. Graphics and Animation
7. Radio Editing and Production Laboratory
8. Graphic and Animation Laboratory

Note : Field Training: Soon after the end term examination of Ist year the students will have to undergo 6 weeks training in reputed institute/ Media related Industry/ Centers such as TV Channels, Production house, Advertisement Agency, Doordarshan, All India Radio, Multimedia Houses. The students will have to submit a report of the training to the College/Department. The institute where the candidate undergoes training will submit a performance report/certificate along with assessment marks out of a maximum of 100. These documents must be confidential and sent direct to the department/College for onward transmission to the university

Second Year

1. Professional Videography
2. Electronics Media Management
3. Media Cyber Law
4. Advance TV Production
5. Video Editing, Web Media Production Laboratory, Videography Lab
6. Profession Videography Laboratory
7. Project
8. Field Training after Ist year

Note : During the 2nd year a student will have to complete a Project on any subject related to the syllabus under the supervision of an internal supervisor. Both the title of the project and name of the internal supervisor will be duly approved by the college/department.
