1. Historiography, Concepts, Approaches, Methods & Tools
2. History of Europe (1450- 1815)
3. History of Europe (1815- 1918)
4. History of Modern World (1919-1962)
5. Project, Survey, Book reviews, Interview, etc. Important
6. Research papers related to the above themes (at least two in each
7. course) will be discussed as prescribed in Academic Review..

Semester – II

1. History of Major Non-Indian Civilizations of the World
2. History of China and Japan (1840-1950)
3. Travels & Tourism in India
4. Theory and practice of the Archaeology of Ancient India
5. Project, Survey, Book reviews, Interview, etc. Important
6. Research papers related to the above themes (at least two in each
7. course) will be discussed as prescribed in Academic Review.

Semester – III

1. History of Ancient India (From earliest times to 600 B.C. E)
2. History of Ancient India (600 B.C.E. to 550 C.E. )
3. History of Ancient India and Cultural Contacts with South-East Asia (550 C.E. – 1200 C.E. )
4. Socio-Economic and Cultural History of Ancient India (From earliest times to 1200 C.E. ) OR
5. Socio-Economic and Cultural History of Medieval India
6. (From 1200 C.E. to 1707 C.E.)
7. Project, Survey, Book reviews, Interview, etc. Important
8. Research papers related to the above themes (at least two in each course) will be discussed as prescribed in Academic Review.
