   • Feminism and gender issues in Geography.
   • Geography’s research frontiers.
2. Research Methodology in Geography
   • Concept and basics of research methodology; the research process; parameters of geographic research.
   • Discovery of research question and formulation of the topic; construction of research design; research proposal.
   • Date management – collection, processing, representation, analysis and interpretation of data.
   • Use of cartography, quantitative analysis and GIS in Geographic research.
   • Writing of the Dissertation / thesis.
   • Defence of the thesis at viva-voce.

   • Representation of population data on tables, charts and maps.
