Admission may be given to those who have passed the one year Certificate course in Pali/Tibetan Language & Literature or any equivalent degree of this University or any other recognized University.

• Saskya legs bhsed (First 10 verses)
• Transliteration of passage from the Tibetan into Roman Script and Translation
• Fifty Buddhist Conceptual Terms (to be Compiled by the Deptt.)
• General Introduction of Tibetan Language and Literature in its cultural context.

2.    Grammar and Composition

• Usage of bdag sgra, dgag sgra, rgyan sdud, lhag bcas etc.
• Syntax
• Min, min tshab, khyad chos etc.
• Ner bsgyur, bya ba their usage
• Composition, Essay Writing

3.    Oral Test

• Dictation in Tibetan
• General Conversation
• Text Reading and Explanation
• Translation
