• Cytogenetics, Economic Botany and Phytochemistry
• Research Methodology

Note : Practicals will be based on the subjects covered under respective theory papers.

Second Year

• Algae, Fungi, Bacteria, Actinomycetes and Lichens
• Bryophytes, Pteridophytes, Gymnosperms and Palaeobotany
• Biophysics and Molecular Genetics
• Applied Botany
• Optional paper (any one)
  • Plant Tissue Culture Methods and Applications
  • Applied Ecology
  • Angiosperm Taxonomy
  • Pharmacognosy and Phytochemistry
