National Institute of Design (NID), Ahmedabad Invites Applications for Admission into B.Des, M.Des programs

Applications are invited from eligible candidate for admission into Bachelor of Design (B.Des) and Master of Design (M.Des) programs offered in various disciplines at Ahmedabad, Gandhinagarand Bangalore campus for 2015-16.

Eligibility Conditions

For B.Des Program

• Admission is open to students who have passed or who will appear for qualifying examinations under the Higher Secondary (10+2) or equivalents like AISSCE/ IB/ ISC during the academic year 2014-15.

For M.Des Program

• Candidates having a bachelor’s degree or equivalent including those who will be appearing for the qualifying examinations during the academic year (2014-15) in the areas mentioned against each discipline are eligible to apply.

  Candidates can download the application form for M.Des program from: http://admissions.nid.edu/downloads/MDes_Form_2015-16.pdf
• 
  The completed application forms may be posted to NID/handed over physically with self attested supporting documents and demand draft of Rs.1500/- drawn on any nationalized bank in favour of ‘National Institute of Design’ payable at Ahmedabad.

Selection Procedure

• Selection of candidates will be done on the basis of their performance in the design aptitude test conducted by the institute.

Important Dates

• Last date: 21^st Nov, 2014.

Date of design aptitude test:

• For M.Des program: 10^th Jan, 2015.
• For B.Des program: 11^th Jan, 2015.
