Applications are invited from eligible candidates for admission into the following programe for 2024.

ELECTRO TECHNICAL OFFICER

The Electro Technical Officer plays a vital role aboard a ship. The ETO is responsible for the maintenance and repair of all electrical and electronic equipment, installations and machinery on a ship. This also includes radio communications and electronic navigation aids.
The ETO programme is designed by industry leaders according to global standards to ensure that you become a globally employable professional. This is a 1 year programme that is split into a 4 month on-shore training along with a 8 month on-board training programme. The details of the course are as follows. Duration: 4 months on shore followed by 8 months on board training

Eligibility Conditions

Education Qualification:

• Passed 10+2 with Physics, Chemistry, Mathematics and English as separate subjects with minimum 50% in English language in 10th or 12th standard final exam conducted by a recognized board or University.
• Passed three years diploma with 60% Marks or four years Degree including lateral entry with 55% marks in Electrical Engineering, Electronics Engineering, Electrical and Electronics Engineering, Electronics and Telecommunication / Communication Engineering, or Electronics and Instrumentation or equivalent. Degree Courses must be recognized by any State or Central Government or the AICTE

Age Limit

• Not More than 25 years.
