BHMS or Bachelor of Homoeopathic Medicine and Surgery is an undergraduate Homoeopathic Medical course. Homoeopathy is a holistic medical method that treats individuals using very diluted medicines administered mostly in tablet form, therefore activating the body's inherent healing processes. The BHMS program lasts 5.5 years, including an internship.   • The aspiring students must have qualified for their 10+2 examination or any equivalent level of examination with Physics, Chemistry, Biology and English
  • The candidates should have secured a minimum of 50% aggregate marks at their Intermediate level.
  • Admission to the BHMS is based on merit. In some states, there is a joint entrance exam for BHMS along with the MBBS and BDS tests. The Admission is based on the performance of the candidate in a written test which may be followed by a personal interview. The minimum age limit is 17 years.
