Life Sciences deal with the scientific study of all the different life forms i.e. the scientific study of living organs like plants, animals and human beings. B.Sc. (Life Sciences) degree course involves study of the various processes of life e.g. the process involved for the change from molecular to cellular life. The students are exposed to rare species of plant and animal life in this course. The duration of the course is three years and it very important and career originating in nature that opens many career scopes for the degree holders after the completion of it.

B.Sc. Life Sciences Course Eligibility

  • The basic eligibility criterion for pursuing B.Sc. (Life Sciences) degree is qualifying 10+2 or equivalent examination, with Physics, Chemistry, and Biology as subjects studied at intermediate level. Some reputed colleges and institutes demand a minimum of 50% marks in 10+2 as qualifying criteria to secure admission in this degree course.
  • Some of the very reputed colleges and institutes also conduct entrance examination to get admission to their B.Sc. (Life Sciences) degree course. Selection to the degree course in these colleges is based on marks secured in the final merit i.e. total marks aggregated in the final exams of 10+2 and the entrance exam.
