M.P.Ed or Master of Physical Education is a postgraduate Physical education course. Physical education is a course taught in elementary and secondary schools that promotes psychomotor learning via play or movement exploration. Students who are introduced to sports such as bowling, walking, hiking, or Frisbee from a young age can create healthy habits that will last until adulthood.

The Master of Physical Education course curriculum mostly included themes such as research methodology, exercise physiology, sports psychology, computer application in physical education and sports, and sports medicine, among others. The syllabus is organized into three sections, each with its own semester system. This physical course is really helpful and vital since physical education is essential for all humans. Following the end of the course, candidates are offered several employment in various fields.

M.P.Ed Eligibility

  • Aspiring candidates should have passed B.P.Ed (1 Year) degree / BPE (3 Years) degree / B.Sc in Health and Physical Education and Degree in Sports from a recognized University.
  • The candidates should have secured at least 55% aggregate marks in their Bachelor's.

Note: There shall, however, be a relaxation of 5% marks in favour of SC/ST/OBC and other categories of candidates as per the rules.

  • Candidates should be physically fit and have a strong interest in physical education and associated activities.
  • It is a suitable fit for those who have intellectual skills that need mental processes, interpretation of supplied information, movement and muscular control, and perceptual abilities that include reasoning, interpretation, and movement skills.
  • Third, individuals who can draw and handle spoken instructions, demonstrations, movies, diagrams, and picture sequences, among other things, are also acceptable.
