M.Sc. Neuroscience or Master of Science in Neuroscience is a postgraduate Neurology course. Neuroscience covers the study of the nervous system and blends in other disciplines like neuro-psychology amongst other disciplines. Strictly speaking, neuroscience has always been seen as a branch of biology. The duration of M.Sc. in Neuroscience is mostly of two academic years but it varies from institute to institute. The Jiwaji University, Gwalior is providing in two years and course is divided into four semesters. Minimum time to complete the course is also two years. Course is available both in full time and part time basis.

  • The candidates should complete their B.Sc. under any registered University in the following subjects like B.Sc. allied Health Sciences, Botany, Chemistry, BUMS, Biochemistry as main or ancillary, B.Sc. in Life Sciences, Bio Science, Biology, Physics, BSMS, BAMS, BHMS, B.Sc. Nursing, B.Sc. Physician Assistant, BPTH, Bachelor of Occupational Theory (BOT), Zoology, any Biological Sciences or Professional course such as MBBS. in science stream.
  • The marks of admission for this course vary from University to University. In various colleges and Universities it conducts entrance exams for the admission of the students.
