P.G. Diploma in Ophthalmology - D.O. is a postgraduate Medical Ophthalmology diploma level Course. Ophthalmology is the branch of medicine that deals with the anatomy, physiology and diseases of the eye. In Post Graduate Diploma in Ophthalmology Course, students learn the properties of light and geometric optics, including refraction and reflection. Here, they understand how light bends and reflects through the eye is key to understanding the principles of vision. Some of the topics covered include that how glasses and contact lenses can improve refraction and reflection problems in the human eye.  The duration of the course is two years, but it may be more or less than this depending on the rules and regulations of different institutes. c) Virus – Herpes Zoster, Simplex, adenovirus, trachoma etc.
