Applications are invited by Sri Sathya Sai Institute of Higher Learning (SSSIHL), Anantapur for admission to 3 years Undergraduate, 2-year Postgraduate and Professional Programs for the session 2018-19

Program for Women

• Undergraduate Program (3 years): B.A., B.Com (Hons), B.Sc. in Food & Nutritional Science, B.Sc. (Hons) in Mathematics/Physics/Chemistry, Biosciences/Chemistry (leading to postgraduate program)
• Post Graduate Program (2 years): M.A. (English Language and Literature), M.Sc. (Biosciences, Food & Nutritional Science)
• Professional Program (1 year): B.Ed. and MBA

Programs for Men

• Undergraduate Program (3 years): B.A., B.Com. (Hons), BBA, BCA, Integrated MCA (5-yr), B.Sc. (Hons) Mathematics/Physics/Chemistry/, B.Sc. (Hons) Biosciences/Chemistry, B.Sc. (Hons) Mathematics/economics/statistics, B.Sc. (Hons) Mathematics/ Computer Science/ statistics, Bachelor of Performing Arts(Music)
• Diploma in Music (2 years)
• Postgraduate Program (2 years): M.A. Economics, M.Sc. Mathematics, Physics, Chemistry and Bioscience
• Professional Program (2 years): MBA, M.Tech (Computer Science, Optoelectronics and Communications)

Eligibility Criteria

For Undergraduate Programs:
Candidates should have completed 10+2 or 12 years of schooling of a recognized board or CBSE, or equivalent thereof. Candidates should have either passed or appeared for the final qualifying exam at the XII standard level before the date of admission test

• At the X standard level, the candidate should have secured minimum of 55% marks in General English, and minimum of 60% marks in aggregate in all the subjects including General English and languages
• Candidates who fall marginally short of the requirement may be considered for admission test, provided they have secured in the XI Standard minimum of 55% marks in General English and minimum of 60% marks in aggregate in all the subjects including General English and languages
• The candidate should preferably be below 19 years of age as on 31st May of the year of admission

For Postgraduate Program:
Candidates should have completed 10+2 or 12 years of schooling of a recognized board or CBSE, or equivalent thereof; candidates should have either passed or appeared for the final qualifying exam at the XII standard level before the date of admission test

• Candidates who have either passed or appeared for final exams of class 12 level or have passed 10+2 years of schooling from a recognized board (CBSE or equivalent), with at least 60% marks (aggregate including English) are eligible to apply for the Integrated MCA Programat Sri Sathya Sai Institute of Higher Learning, Anantapur
• In XI/XII Standard, Mathematics (inc. Algebra, Geometry, Calculus and basic Statistics) must be studied
• The candidate should preferably be below 19 years of age as on 31st May of the year of admission

For MBA (for Women and Men Candidates):

• Candidates should have completed 10+2 years of schooling and 3 years of University, (total 15 years) as recognized by SSSIHL; either passed or appeared for Final exams at Bachelor’s degree level before Admission Test
• Bachelor’s Degree 50% or more (English) and 60% (aggregate including English) or CGPA aggregate of 6 or more (10-point scale)/35 or more (5-point scale) with 50% or more in English (If not appeared for Bachelor’s degree final exams, aggregate marks in all the preceding years/Semesters put together marks will be considered)
• Master’s degree 60% (Aggregate including English) or CGPA aggregate of 6 or more (10 point scale)/35 or more (5 point scale) with 50% or more in English at the Bachelor’s level
• The candidate should preferably be below 19 years of age as on 31st May of the year of admission

For M.Tech in Computer Science Program:

• Candidates should have completed 10+2 years of schooling and 3 years of University, (total 15 years) as recognized by SSSIHL; either passed or appeared for Final exams at Bachelor’s degree level before Admission Test
• Bachelor’s Degree 50% or more (English) and 60% (aggregate including English) or CGPA aggregate of 6 or more (10-point scale)/35 or more (5-point scale) with 50% or more in English (If not appeared for Bachelor’s degree final exams, aggregate marks in all the preceding years/Semesters put together marks will be considered)
• The candidate should preferably be below 19 years of age as on 31st May of the year of admission.

Selection Procedure

Selection is based on the academic performance, written test and interview conducted by the university.

Online Application

For students, who choose this option please visit the link for the online application portal; in this option, you will be guided step-by-step on how to fill in the form

It is mandatory that you have an email ID; if you do not one yet, we suggest you create an online account with a popular service provider such as Google, yahoo, hotmail, etc; there are all free of charge

Once you have completed filling in the form, you will be able to view the filled-in application form in PDF format and save it on your computer. Candidates who apply online can make the payment via Debit card/Credit card/ Net banking

Postal Application

If you refer to get the application form by post, please write to the Admission Office, Office of the Registrar, Sri Sathya Sai Institute of Higher Learning Vidyagiri, Prasanthi Nilayam, Anantapur (Distt), Andhra Pradesh-515134

You must send the following along with the written request for each application:

Indian Postal Order (IPO) or Demand Draft (DD) for Rs.100/- . The Bank draft should be drawn in favor of Sri Sathya Sai Institute of Higher Learning, payable at SBI, Prasanthi Nilayam/Puttaparthi

The name and complete postal address along with programs for which application form is required should be clearly stated in Block letters on the reverse of the IPO/DD and also in the requisition letter

Indication of which program you would like to apply to – whether you want to apply for an Undergraduate, Postgraduate or Professional program for admission. This is very important, since there are THREE separate application forms for admission – one each for Undergraduate, Postgraduate and Professional Program. Incorrect forms will be rejected.

Full return address: Please indicate your full return address, clearly mentioned in your written request, so that we can post you the form and related prospectus

If you have chosen to pay online, kindly print and attach a copy of the electronic receipt. Otherwise, kindly send an Indian Postal Order (IPO) or Demand Draft (DD) for Rs.100/- per application.
