Nirma University Integrated BBA MBA Admission 2018 Notification

Applications are invited from eligible candidates for admissions into 5 years Integrated BBA–MBA for 2018 sessions. 

Number of Seats: 120 

• Over and above the intake, 15% seats are also allocated to Persons of Indian Origin (PIO)/Foreign Students/Children of Indians working in Gulf countries and South East Asia. 

Eligibility Conditions Selection Criteria

For All India Category 

Eligibility

• Applicants should have passed HSC/10+2 Exam or any other equivalent exam recognised by Nirma University with minimum 60% aggregate marks with English as one of the subjects.
• The age of the applicants shall be not more than 20 years as on 01st July of the year of admission.
• 65% of total intake shall be filled from the applicants who have passed the qualifying exam from schools located in India (including Gujarat State) and have appeared for UGAT for the corresponding academic year. 

Selection

• The final selection shall be determined based on the following criteria: (a) Weightage of UGAT scores: 50%; (b) Weightage of performance in Personal Interview: 30% and; c) Academic Performance in qualifying exam: 20%. 

For Gujarat State Category 

Eligibility

• Applicants should have passed Higher Secondary Certificate (HSC)/(10+2) Exam or any other equivalent exam recognised by Nirma University with minimum 90% aggregate marks with first attempt and English as one of the subjects.
• The age of the applicants shall be not more than 20 years as on 01st July of the year of admission.
• 20% of the total intake shall be filled from the applicants who have passed the qualifying exam from the schools located in the State of Gujarat. 

Selection

• The final selection shall be determined based on the following criteria: a) Weightage of the qualifying 70% exam; (b) Weightage of performance in 30% Personal Interview. 

For NRI Category

Eligibility 

• 15% of the total intake will be filled by Institute of Management, Nirma University with following eligibility criteria. 

• For NRI Applicants: Applicants must have passed the qualifying exam from abroad they are exempted from appearing in UGAT. Applicants must produce equivalence certificate of the qualifying exam from Association of Indian Universities (AIU), New Delhi. 

• For NRI Sponsored Applicants: Applicants must have passed the qualifying exam in India and must have appeared in UGAT. 

Application Procedure

Admission Test – UGAT (For All India Category 65%)

• The applicants need to apply and appear for the admission test UGAT (Under Graduate Aptitude Test) to be conducted by the All India Management Association (AIMA) on 12^th May, 2018 at various centers in India. 

Online Application

• Online Nirma Application Form Online Nirma Application Form will be available on our website. 

• Fill in the Online Application Form and submit it along with an online payment of Rs.1200/- by Credit Card/Debit Card/Net banking. 

Offline Application

• Offline Nirma Application Form can be downloaded from the Institute’s website and the completed Form is to be sent along with a Demand Draft (DD) for Rs.1200/- drawn in favour of “Institute of Management, Nirma University” payable at Ahmedabad to Deputy Registrar, Institute of Management, Nirma University, Sarkhej-Gandhinagar Highway, Ahmedabad-382481 (Gujarat).
