Indian Institutes of Science Education and Research (IISER) BS-MS Dual Degree Admission 2018 Notification

Applications are invited from eligible candidates for admissions to 5 year BS-MS Dual Degree Program 2018 in Indian Institutes of Science Education and Research Bhopal, Kolkata, Mohali, Pune, Thiruvananthapuram (Autonomous institutions under MHRD, Govt. of India).

Eligibility Conditions

Applicants satisfying at least one of the following three criteria are eligible to apply:

Kishore Vaigyanik Protsahan Yojana (KVPY)

Valid KVPY fellowship commencing from 2018 academic session; additional cut off criteria may be applicable.

IIT-JEE (Advanced) 2018

Students securing at least 60% marks in class XII and securing a place in JEE Advanced 2018 rank list for admissions to IITs. Additional cut off criteria may be applicable.

State and Central Boards

Students securing with marks equal or above the cut off percentage in class XII board examination, as notified in website.

For the applicants belonging to the Non-Creamy Layer of the Other Backward Classes (OBCNC) and Persons with Disability (PD) categories, there is a 5% relaxation. The cut-off percentage for the SC/ST and Kashmiri Migrants (KM) applicants is 55% in class XII for all boards.

Scholarship

BS-MS students are eligible for either KVPY or INSPIRE scholarship based on continued academic performance.

Applications for the admission must be submitted online www.iiseradmission.in. The application portal will open in the May 2018.
There is a Non-refundable Application Fee of Rs.1500/- (Rs.750/- for applicants applying under SC/ST category).
