North Eastern Hill University (NEHU) Shillong PG Programs 2018 Notifications

Applications are invited from eligible candidates for admission into following programs for 2018 sessions.

• Master of Arts (M.A)
• Master of Science (M.Sc)
• Master of Commerce (M.Com)
• Master of Library & Information Science (M.LISc.)
• Master of Education (M.Ed)
• Master of Law (LL.M)
• Master of Philosophy (M.Phil)
• Doctor of Philosophy (Ph.D) 

Eligibility Conditions

For LL.M Program

• Applicants should have secured 55% (for General applicants) and 50% (for SC/ST applicants in LL.B. or equivalent examination. 

• The applicant seeking admission for M.Ed program should have obtained at least 50% marks equivalent grade in B.Ed or B.A. B.Ed, B.Sc.B.Ed or D.El.Ed with an undergraduate degree (with 50% marks in each). 

• Applicants with at least 55% marks or with a minimum of ‘B’ grade (CGPA) in the 7- point UGC scale at the Master’s degree level or equivalent in the same or cognate subject will be eligible for admission to the M.Phil program. 

Application Form

• Candidates may apply online for the courses/programmes in the University on payment of Rs.220/- & Rs.110/- (for SC/ST category) by visiting this University website www.nehu.ac.in and the payment will also be online. 

• A Help Desk in the Computer Centre will assist students who need help for applying online admission for various courses/programme. • Students applying for courses in Tura Campus are requested to download the form by visiting this University Website www.nehu.ac.in for any information they are advised to contact In-charge, NEHU, Tura Campus (Phone No. 03651-223107). 

Selection Procedure

• Selection will be based on admission test and relevant NEHU criteria. 

• Applicants are required to contact their respective departments for details to entrance test, group discussions, interview etc.
