Indian Institute of Technology (IIT) Tirupati Invites Applications for M.Tech Admission 2018

Applications are invited from eligible candidates for admission into the M.Tech Program starting in July 2018 Semester. 

Programme offered in the following Depts. 

• M.Tech in Computer Science & Engineering
• M.Tech in Electrical Engineering (Stream: Signal Processing & Communications)
• M.Tech in Mechanical Engineering (Stream: Design & Manufacturing) 

Eligibility Conditions

For GATE Qualified Applicants 

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering/Technology from Educational Institutions approved by AICTE/ Govt. 

• Applicants yet to appear or have appeared in the final exam for the qualifying degree specified in (i)] and whose results are likely to be declared by July 15^th  2018. 

For IIT Graduates 

• B.Tech. Degree and having CGPA of 8.0 [7.5 for SC/ST (on a scale of 10)] and above can apply without GATE Score. 

Reservation of Seats

• Seats are reserved for Indian Nationals under the categories, SC/ ST/ OBC-NCL and PwD (Persons with Disability) according to the Government of India rules.

• Please read the instructions given in the admission brochure carefully before filling up the application form. 

• The online application form is available at the Institute website http://mtechadmissions.iittp.ac.in. 

• After filling the form, please take a printout and keep it for records. 

Application Fee 

• GN/OBC-NCL Male Applicants: Rs.400/-
• GN/OBC-NCL Female Applicants: Rs.200/-
• SC/ST and PwD Applicants: Rs.200/- 

Financial Assistance 

• Financial assistance in the form of Half-Time Teaching Assistantship (HTTA) at the rate of Rs.12400/- p.m. (tenable for a maximum period of 24 months) will be awarded to Indian Nationals doing the M.Tech. Programs, subject to Institute rules.
