Applications are ijnvited from eligible candidates for admission into various Post Graduate Degree and Diploma Courses for 2018-19 sessions.
Programs Offered
The University offers Master’s Degrees in three schools presently – The School of Historical Studies, The School of Ecology and Environment Studies and the School of Buddhist Studies, Philosophy and Comparative Religions.
- School of Ecology and Environment Studies – M.A./M.Sc. Duration – 02
- School of Historical Studies – M.A. Duration – 02
- School of Buddhist Studies, Philosophy and Comparative Religions – M.A. Duration – 02
- School of Languages and Literature/Humanities – PG Diploma, Duration – 01
Eligibility Conditiopns
For Master’s Programs
- A minimum of three years Bachelor’s degree (10+2+3) with at least 55% marks or equivalent Grade Point Average (GPA) International students.
- A Bachelor’s Degree with minimum 15 years of prior studies with a GPA of at least 2.2 or above on a 4 point scale or equivalent grade if another grade point scale is used.
Note: The applicants, who are citizens of other countries shall present the score of any one of the following English Language Tests:
- TOEFL (Test of English as Foreign Language).
- IELTS (International English Language Testing System).
- TOEIC (Test of English for International Communication).
- PTE (Personal Test of English).
- Any other standard English test used on the international platform.
For Post Graduate Diploma Programs
- Master’s Degree in any of the language of choice from a recognized University/institution or Bachelor’s Degree with specialization in any of the language of choice followed by a Master’s Degree in any stream from a recognized University/Institution.
- University requires all applicants to demonstrate competence in the English language.

- Selection to the PG Programs will be based on Entrance Test

Date of Entrance Exam: 06th May 2018. The exam will be of 2 hours duration and will be held from 9 am to 11 am for courses at School of Ecology and Environment Studies, 12.30 pm to 2.30 pm for courses of School of Historical Studies and from 4 pm to 6 pm for courses in School of Buddhist Studies, Philosophy and Comparative Religions.
Application Form
- Applications can be submitted till 22nd Apr, 2018 at the link www.nalandauniv.edu.in.
- After duly filling the Application Form, Application fees need to be paid through the gateway provided in the form.
- Hall Ticket can be downloaded from the website after 29th Apr, 2018. The interview will be on 08, 09, 10 May 2018.
- Results are expected to be declared on 18th May, 2018 and enrollment would be from 4th Jun, 2018 to 8th Jun, 2018.
