VIT University MSc Admission 2018 Notification

Applications are invited from eligible candidates for admissions into M.Sc Degree Program for 2018 Session.

Programs Offered

M.Sc

Applied Microbiology
Biotechnology
Biomedical Genetics
Chemistry (with specialization in Analytical or Inorganic or Organic or General Chemistry or Pharmaceutical Chemistry)
Physics.

Eligibility Conditions

Graduation with a full-time degree from any recognized University with a minimum of 50% marks.

Nationality

Applicants must be a Resident Indian National and should have studied in regular, full time and formal education colleges located in India in the preceding three years.

Qualifying Exam

Applicants awaiting for the final semester or final year exam results can also apply provided they have completed their final year exams before the date of counseling/interview and would submit their final-year mark sheet on or before the August 15th 2017.

For M.Sc Applied Microbiology/Biotechnology/Biomedical Genetics

B.Sc degree from a recognized university in any branch of Biological Science that includes Botany/Zoology, Microbiology/ Biochemistry/ Biotechnology/Nutrition or Home Science/ Agricultural Science/ Medicine

For M.Sc Chemistry (with specialization in Analytical or Inorganic or Organic or General Chemistry)

B.Sc degree in either Chemistry or Applied Chemistry or Applied Science from any recognized university with Physics or Mathematics; or Biology as ancillary subjects.

M.Sc Physics

B.Sc degree from any recognized university with Physics/Applied Sciences.

Selection Procedure

Applicants will be called for an interview in the order of merit of their aggregate marks secured in their undergraduate degree programs calculated up to pre-final year (This is inclusive of Language and all other subjects they have studied upto pre-final year).

Note: It is mandatory that the applicants has to send the hard copy of the application along with necessary certificates.

Stage 1

New User Registration: Enter all the relevant details carefully; a password will be sent from VIT to your registered mobile no. and email address.

Stage 2

Confirmation of Password: Login to registered user with the email address and password received from VIT.

Stage 3

Filling Online Application Form: Provide all relevant details carefully, before submission. An application number will be generated after submission.

Stage 4

Mode of Payment: Application Cost (Rs.500/-) Only through Online mode (Net banking/Debit card /Credit card).

Stage 5

Photo & Sign Upload: Passport size colour photograph (3.5cm X 4.5 cm) in jpg/jpeg format with a maximum file size of 300 kb. Signature of the applicant (Dimension-6 cm (width) X 2 cm height) in jpg/jpeg format with a maximum file size of 200 kb; selfie photo is not allowed.
