Applications are invited from eligible candidates for admission into undergraduate engineering program (B.Tech) – B.Tech (ICT) and B.Tech (Honours in ICT with minor in Computational Science) for 2018-19 sessions.

Important Dates 

• Last date to fill the Online Application Form: 01^st Jul, 2018
• Publication of Merit List: 06^th Jul, 2018
• Last date to pay fees by shortlisted applicants: 11^th Jul, 2018
• Registration and verification of documents by confirmed applicants at DAIICT campus: 23^rd Jul, 2018 (Tentative)
• Commencement of classes: 30^th Jul, 2018 

Application Form

• Applicants can apply online at www.daiict.ac.in.
• Application fee (non-refundable) is Rs. 1200/-. The application fee is to be paid online through a Credit Card / Debit Card / Internet Banking / Paytm Wallet. 

Eligibility Conditions

• The applicant must have passed in final examination of 10+2 (Class XII ) or its equivalent with Mathematics, Physics and any one of Chemistry/Biotechnology/Computer Science/Biology. Applicants appearing in the qualifying examination in 2013 are also eligible to apply for consideration of provisional admission. 

• All applicants who are offered provisional admission will be required to produce the proof of having passed the qualifying examination (10+2 examination or equivalent) to the Institute latest by 30 October 2013, failing which such provisional admission will stand, cancelled. 

• If an applicant is found ineligible at a later date, even after admission to DA-IICT, his/her admission will be cancelled. 
  
  
• The decision of the concerned authorities of DA-IICT regarding eligibility of any applicant shall be final. 

Qualifying Examination

• The +2 level examination in the 10+2 pattern of examination of any recognized Central/State Board of Secondary Education, including Central Board of Secondary Education, New Delhi, and Council for Indian School Certificate Examination, New Delhi. 

• Intermediate Science or Two-year Pre-University Examination conducted by a recognized Board / University Final Examination of the Two-year course of the Joint Services Wing of the National Defence Academy  Any Public School/Board/University Examination in India or in foreign countries recognised by the Association of Indian Universities as equivalent to the 10+2 system. 

• H.S.C. Vocational Examination. 

• Senior Secondary School Examination conducted by the National Open School with a minimum of five subjects. 

• Three or four-year diploma recognised by AICTE or a State Board of Technical Education. 

Age limit

• Only those applicants whose date of birth falls on or after 01 October 1993 are eligible. 

Selection Procedure

• Admission to B.Tech programs for all India category seats at DAIICT will be based on All India Rank (AIR) obtained by applicants in JEE Main 2018. 50% of the total seats at the institute are to be filled by all India category applicants. 

• The remaining 50% seats will be filled through GUJCET, by applicants belonging to the state of Gujarat who have passed a qualifying examination from a school located there.
