Lal Narayan Mithila University, Kameshwarangar (Darbhanga) BEd Courses 2018 Notification

Applications are invited from eligible candidates for admission into B.Ed courses (Regular and Distance Mode) through Entrance Test for 2018 sessions. 

Intake

• Seats for 500 students will be admitted in B.Ed Distance Mode Program on merit basis on the performance in the CET 2016 and following the norms of reservation of the Govt. of Bihar. 

• Seats for 100 students will be admitted in B.Ed (Regular) Program in each of the college/ institutes on preference cum merit basis on the performance in the CET-2018 and following the norms of reservation of the Govt. of Bihar. 

Eligibility Conditions

For B.Ed Distance Mode Program:

• Applicants having 50% marks in Graduation/Post-Graduation
• Untrained teacher        
                   or
  Trained in-service teachers in Elementary education
                    or
  Applicant who has completed a NCTE recognized teacher education program through face-to-face mode. 

For B.Ed (Regular) Program

• Applicants with at least 50% marks either in the Bachelor ’s Degree (10+2+3) and/ or Master ’s Degree in Sciences/Social Sciences/Humanity, Bachelor, in Engineering or Technology with specialization in Science and Mathematics with 55% marks or any other qualification equivalent thereto, are eligible. 

Reservation of Seats

• The reservation in seats and relaxation in the qualifying marks for SC/ST/OBC/PWD and other categories shall be as per the rules of the Govt. of Bihar. 

University has following Four Affiliated Colleges of Bachelor of Education Admission of B.Ed (Regular) Course under Self-Finace Program: 

• Department of Education, Directorate of Distance Education, Lalit Narayan Mithila University, Darbhanga
• K. College, Madhubani
• College, Baheri
• K.N. College Narhan, Samastipur 

Application Form

• The Common Application Form (CET 2018) for B.Ed (Distance Mode / Regular) is attached with this prospectus and also available on website www.lnmu.ac.in and www.ddelnmu.ac.in. 

• Properly filled in application form along with requisite fee Rs.1000/- to be paid through challan of Central Bank of India only should be sent to the office of The Dean, Students’ Welfare LN Mithila University, Kameshwarnagar, Darbhanga-846004. 

• On or before the last date for submission of the admission form i.e. May 10th 2018 (Tentatively), either by the applicants in person or by speed post/registered post/courier. 

• Applicants must mark option for preference in the Application Form otherwise it will be rejected. 

Important Dates

• Submission of Application Form from April 2018
• Last Date of Submission of Application Form: Second week of May 2018
• Date of CET (Entrance Test): Third week of May 2018 (10.00 am – 12.00 pm (2 hours)
• Date of Publication of First List: End of May 2018
