BIT Mesra Integrated MSC Admission 2018 Notification

Applications are invited from eligible Class XII pass-out aspiring for admission to the following 5year (10-semester) Integrated M.Sc programs of the Institute at Mesra for the session 2018.

Programs and Total No of Seats:

Integrated M.Sc in Chemistry – 40 seats
Integrated M.Sc in Mathematics & Computing – 40 seats
Integrated M.Sc in Physics – 40 seats
Integrated M.Sc in Food Technology – 30 seats

Eligibility Conditions

Chemistry

Pass in Class 12 / equivalent examination with English, Physics, Chemistry, Mathematics / Biology and having at least 60 percent (50 percent for SC / ST / PwD) marks in average of 4 subjects – English, Physics, Chemistry, Mathematics / Biology.

Mathematics & Computing

Pass in Class 12 / equivalent examination with English, Physics, Chemistry, Mathematics and having at least 60 percent (50 percent for SC/ST/PwD) marks in average of 4 subjects – English, Physics, Chemistry, Mathematics.

Physics

Pass in Class 12 / equivalent examination with English, Physics, Chemistry, Mathematics and having at least 60 percent (50 percent for SC/ST/PwD) marks in average of 4 subjects – English, Physics, Chemistry, Mathematics.

Food Technology

Pass in Class 12 / equivalent examination with English, Physics, Chemistry, Mathematics and having at least 60 percent (50 percent for SC/ST/PwD) marks in average of 4 subjects – English, Physics, Chemistry, Mathematics.

Filling of online form commences from 02^nd May, 2018
Last date to Apply Online 20^th Jun, 2018
Declaration of FIRST shortlisted applicants for Documents Verification cum Admission: 25^th Jun, 2018
Classes will commence from 1st / 2nd week of July 2018

Selection Procedure

The provisional selection will be made on the basis of marks obtained by the candidates in Class XII /Intermediate/ equivalent qualifying examination.

Application Form

To apply for any of the programmes listed above; eligible applicants must download and print the application form available on www.bitmesra.ac.in

Send the completed form along with 2 recent colour photographs with photocopies of all marksheets and certificates (see item (f) below for list of enclosures).

A crossed Demand Draft (DD) for Rs.1500/- (General / OBC) and Rs.1000/- (SC/ST) applicants (non-refundable) in favour of “Birla Institute of Technology”, payable at Ranchi, in a A4 size envelope by appropriate means well in advance of the due date (preferably by means of which e-tracking is possible).
