Institute of Pharmacy, Nirma University invites applications from eligible candidates for following programs.

B.Pharm.  Approved by Pharmacy Council  of India (PCI)

As per ACPC, Gujarat State Norms

  • 85 Seats - admission through ACPC, Gujarat
  • 15 Seats - admission as NRI Seats by Nirma University
  • 05 Seats - (Supernumerary/Additional) for Tuition Fee Waiver (TFW) Scheme to be filled by ACPC, Gujarat
  • 15 Seats - (Supernumerary) as PIO, GULF, FN, CIWGC-SEA Quota – filled by Nirma University (Refer for more details - http://www.nirmauni.ac.in/NU/gulf_pio)

Master of Pharmacy (M.Pharm.) – Approved by Pharmacy Council  of India (PCI)

Eligibility Conditions

B.Pharm

B.Pharm. Admission through ACPC (Admission Committee for Professional Courses), Gujarat

  • The candidate shall have passed the qualifying examination with minimum eligibility criteria for percentage of marks in subjects prescribed by AICTE from time to time, as per norms of ACPC. The candidates will be admitted on merit basis through Admission Committee for Professional Courses (ACPC), Gujarat State.

B.Pharm. Admission to Management Quota (NRI Category - Self/Ward/Sponsored)

  • The candidate shall have passed the qualifying examination with minimum eligibility criteria for percentage of marks in subjects prescribed by AICTE from time to time, as per norms of ACPC. The candidates has to apply to institute along with application processing fee and necessary documents. The institute shall admit the students on the merit basis based on the application forms received by the institute, as per norms of ACPC, Gujarat State.

CIWGC-SEA (Children of Indian Workers in Gulf Countries and South East Asia) Category

  • The candidates whose parent are working at Gulf countries or South East Asia are only eligible under this category.

PIO (Persons of Indian Origin) Category

  • The Persons who are citizens of other countries (except Pakistan and Bangladesh) who at any time held an Indian Passport, or who or either of his parents or any of his grandparents was a citizen of India by virtue of the provisions of the Constitution of India or Sec 2 (b) of Citizenship Act, 1955 (Act No. 57 of 1955) are only eligible under this category.

FN (Foreign Nationals) Category

  • The citizens of all countries other than India, who are not of Indian origin as defined under PIO are eligible under this category.

M.Pharm

  • The candidates must have passed the qualifying examination (B.Pharm.) from a recognized university with minimum aggregate marks* or equivalent Cumulative Grade Point Index* (CGPI) or any other qualifying degree examination considered as the equivalent of B.Pharm. degree by Nirma University, Ahmedabad. (as per AICTE & PCI norms)
  • Candidates who are appearing for the final semester of qualifying examination (B.Pharm.)can also apply. In such case, the candidate is required to submit the result as soon as the same is available either by email or by fax (scanned image).
  • If the applicant has passed the qualifying examination(B.Pharm.) from a University other than Nirma University, then he/she will be required to obtain an eligibility certificate from Nirma University. The arrangement for obtaining the same will be made on the spot at the time of admission on payment of Rs. 1000/- (Rupees One Thousand Only).

Financial Support (Stipend/Scholarship)

  • Meritorious students (GPAT / Non-GPAT) will be given stipend as per university norms.
