Indian Maritime University invites applications for admission Lateral Entry to the various Under Graduate Programmes at IMU Campuses for August 2018 Batch

• B.Tech (Marine Engineering) 2nd Year
• B.Sc (Nautical Science) 2nd Year
• B.Tech (Naval Architecture & Ocean Engineering) 2nd Year
• B.Tech (Naval Architecture & Ocean Engineering) 3rd Year

Eligibility Conditions

B.Tech (Marine Engineering)

• Candidates with at least 55% marks overall in 3-years Diploma in Marine /Mechanical/Electrical/Electrical & Electronics Engineering

or

• 4-years Diploma in Shipbuilding Engineering from any Institute approved by AICTE or State Board of Technical Education and a minimum of 50% marks in English subject in 10th/12th/Diploma Examination.
• The candidate should have completed the diploma within its stipulated duration of 3 years.

B.Sc (Nautical Science)

• 1-year Diploma in Nautical Science (DNS) programme with 60% marks overall and a minimum of 50% marks in English subject in 10th/12th Examination.

B.Tech (Naval Architecture & Ocean Engineering)

• Candidates with 60% marks in 4-year Diploma in Ship Building Engineering from the Institute of Ship Building Technology, Goa.

or

• 3-year Diploma in Naval Architecture and Offshore Engineering from the AMET University, Chennai

or

• 3-year Diploma in Mechanical Engineering/Civil Engineering from any Institute approved by AICTE and a minimum of 50% marks in English subject in 10th/12th Examination. The candidate should have completed the diploma within its stipulated duration of 4 years or 3 years as the case may be.

B.Tech (Naval Architecture and Ocean Engineering)

• B.Sc (Ship-building and Repair) with at least 60% marks overall and a minimum of 50% marks in English subject in 10th/12th Examination.
• The candidate should have completed the degree within the stipulated period of 3 years
