Government Medical College and Hospital - GMCH Sector 32 Chandigarh Invites application for admission to MBBS, BDS and BHMS programmes 2018

Online application admission for MBBS, BDS, and BHMS Courses for the session 2018. will be conducted at Govt. Medical College (Auditorium) Sector 32-A Chandigarh for the following Three Colleges:- 

  • Govt. Medical College and Hospital sector 32-A - MBBS
  • Dr. Harvansh Singh Judge Institute of Dental science Panjab University Sector 25, Chandigarh - BDS
  • Homeopathic Medical College and Hospital Sector 26 Chandigarh - BHMS

Eligibility Conditions

  • Only candidates whose names appear in the NATIONAL ELIGIBILITY CUM ENTRANCE TEST (SESSION 2018-19) FOR ADMISSION TO MBBS/BDS COURSES (NEET (UG)-2018) merit list of successful candidates prepared by CBSE for MBBS/BDS will be eligible to apply for MBBS/BDS/BHMS. The merit list of NEET will also apply to Foreign Indian Student/NRI/PIO category candidates for admission in MBBS/BDS /BHMS courses.
  • Every candidate seeking admission should have attained the age of 17 years on or before 31st December 2018
  • ONLY INDIAN CITIZENS are eligible to apply under the categories of UT Chandigarh Pool & All India Quota.
  • A candidate must have passed in the subjects of Physics, Chemistry, Biology/Biotechnology & English individually in the qualifying 12th
  • A candidate must have secured following minimum percentage of marks in the aggregate of Physics, Chemistry and Biology/Biotechnology taken together in 12th standard examination or other equivalent qualifying examination.

          General category: not less than 50%

          SC/ST category: not less than 40%

          A person with Disability category: not less than 45%

  • A candidate appearing/appeared in the qualifying 12th Standard examination or other equivalent qualifying examination in 2018 where the result is awaited can also apply. However, he/she shall not be eligible for admission if he/she does not pass the qualifying examination with the required pass percentage of marks prior to the first round of counseling. He/she will be allowed to attend first counseling only if detailed marks certificate of the above said examination is submitted prior to or at the time of first counseling, failing which he/she will be declared ineligible for the admission year 2018 and his/her application will be rejected.
  • The candidates (including Foreign Indian Student/NRI/PIO category candidates) must have come in the merit list of NEET (UG)-2018 for MBBS/BDS by securing following minimum marks in Physics, Chemistry, Biology/Biotechnology taken together:

          General category: not less than 50th Percentile

          SC/ST category: not less than 40th Percentile

          A person with Disability category: not less than 45th Percentile

  • Admission will be made strictly on the basis of rank/merit obtained in NEET (UG)-2018.

Documents Needed

  • NEET (UG)-2018 result Card
  • Matriculation certificate showing date of birth or birth certificate issued by Govt.
  • Passing certificate of class XI or other qualifying examination
  • Detailed marks–sheet of class XII or other qualifying examination
  • Reserved category certificate as applicable
  • A person with Disability PWD Certificate as applicable and for BDS
  • Proof regarding ward of Defence personnel
  • Certificate for a candidate for candidates applying against UT

Application fee

  • The application fee will be paid online only as per detail is given below:-
  • For SC category  - 500/- + Bank Charges, if any.
  • For General & other categories - 1000/- + Bank Charges, if any.
  • For NRI Category - 7000/- + Bank Charges, if any.

  • The application fee once paid, shall not be refunded.
