Eligibility Conditions

B.Sc. (Hons.) Home Science - Semester I

Candidates who have passed the +2 examination of 10+2 system of education from CBSE, Board of School Education Punjab/Haryana/Himachal Pradesh or equivalent thereof, with English as a compulsory subject.

B.Sc.(Hons.) Fashion Designing - Semester I

(Self Financing Course)

Admission to Semester I of B.Sc. Fashion Designing shall be open to candidates with atleast 50% marks (45% marks for SC and ST category candidates) in 10+2 examination from CBSE, Board of School Education Punjab/Haryana/Himachal Pradesh or equivalent thereof, with English as a compulsory subject.

M.Sc. Home Science (Clothing and Textiles)- Semester I

B.Sc. (Hons.) Home Science, B.Sc. Home Science/ B.Sc. Fashion Designing/ B.Sc. Fashion and Lifestyle Technology from Panjab University with at least 50% aggregate marks/any other examination recognized by Panjab University as equivalent to above-mentioned courses of Panjab University.

M.Sc. Home Science (Foods and Nutrition) - Semester I

B.Sc.(Hons.) Home Science, B.Sc. Home Science from Panjab University with at least 50% aggregate marks/any other examination recognized by Panjab University as equivalent to B.Sc. Home Science of Panjab University/B. Tech. (Food Technology)/ B.Sc. Nutrition and Dietetics/B.Sc. Clinical Nutrition and Dietetics/ B.Sc. (Microbial and Food Technology).

M.Sc. Home Science Human Development and Family Relations - Semester I

B.Sc.(Hons.) Home Science, B.Sc. Home Science from Panjab University with at least 50% aggregate marks/any other examination recognized by Panjab University as equivalent to B.Sc. Home Science of Panjab University.

P.G. Diploma in Child Guidance and Family Counseling - Semester I

Any graduation from Panjab University /any other examination recognized by Panjab University as equivalent to graduation, with atleast 50% aggregate marks.

P.G. Diploma in Fashion Designing - Semester I

Any graduation from Panjab University /any other examination recognized by Panjab University as equivalent to graduation, with at least 50% aggregate marks.

P.G. Diploma in Nutrition and Dietetics - Semester I

B.Sc. Home Science from Panjab University /any other examination equivalent to B.Sc. Home Science, recognized by Panjab University: B.Sc. Home Science/B.Sc. Biotechnology/ B.A. with Home Science/B.Sc. Microbial and Food Technology/ B.Sc. Food Science/ B.Sc. Clinical Nutrition and Dietetics/B.Sc. Homeopathy/B.Sc. Physiotherapy/ B.Tech. (Food Technology)/B.Sc. Nursing/BAMS/MBBS/Bachelor of Dental Science(BDS)/BA/B.Sc. Sports Nutrition /Allied field, with at least 50% aggregate marks.
Calculation of Merit for Undergraduate Courses
B.Sc. Home Science (Semester I) and B.Sc. Fashion Designing (Semester I)
The merit will be calculated on the aggregate marks/percentage of all the subjects, obtained in the qualifying exam (10+2).
Calculation of Merit for Postgraduate Courses- Degree and Diploma
M.Sc. and PG Diplomas
The merit will be calculated on the aggregate marks/percentage in the qualifying examination.

Step 1: Online Registration

Procedure for Submitting Online Applications Forms: www.dhe.chd.gov.in
Click on Sign Up to register on the website by filling email ID, Mobile Number, and Name (Spellings of Name must be same as in Class-X marks sheet/certificate).
Mobile Number will be the Login ID and Password will be sent to your registered mobile number through SMS.
Candidate can change the password if he/she desires.
Candidate will be able to Login to the admission portal by using the password in all future visits to this portal.
Pay Registration Fee of Rs. 70/- online to proceed further to fill the application form. Note down the transaction number generated.
Payment verification will take a maximum of up to 24 hours. You can verify your payment by using the option Payment Verification on the website (Note: Transaction number will be used to verify the status of the transaction).
A candidate can apply for Multiple Courses/Colleges with the same User id and Password.

Note:

There will a help desk functional in the college, on all working days from 10:00 AM to 12:00 PM, to assist with online applications. The college will remain closed on Saturdays, Sundays and Gazetted holidays.
