Applications are invited from the eligible other state candidates for admission to the first year B.Tech programme at CSIR-CECRI for the academic year 2018-19 based on valid JEE (Main) 2018 All India Rank.

B.Tech. (Chemical and Electrochemical Engineering)

Eligibility Conditions

• A pass in 12th Standard of Tamil Nadu HSC (Academic) with mathematics, physics, and chemistry or equivalent
• For SC/ST candidates, a mere pass in the qualifying examination will suffice and the minimum marks are the same as the passing minimum for HSC/Diploma of the State of Tamil Nadu.  Candidates belonging to communities other than SC/ST should have obtained the following minimum marks

For Communities other than BC/MBC and DNC/SC/ST- other communities: A minimum average of 55% and above in Mathematics, Physics and Chemistry
For BC communities: A minimum average of 50% and above in Mathematics, Physics, and Chemistry.
For MBC & DNC Communities: A minimum average of 45% and above in Mathematics, Physics, and Chemistry.
Mention the cut-off levels of percentage and percentile scores of the candidates in the admission test for the last three years

How to Apply?

• The application form, information and instructions to candidates will be available only on the website www.cecri.res.in. A hard copy (print out) of the application along with the application fee (Rs. 500/- for General and OBC (NCL) candidates and Rs. 250/- for SC/ST candidates in the form of Demand Draft drawn in favour of “Director, CSIR-CECRI” payable at Karaikudi) and all the enclosures should be sent through registered /
  speed post to Dean, Centre For Education, CSIR - Central Electrochemical Research Institute, Karaikudi - 630003, Tamilnadu, so as to reach on or before 29^th Jun, 2018 (05.00 p.m).
