Delhi University Admision 2018: Second cut-off list released

Delhi University has released its second cut-off list today. The DU second cut-off list is likely to see a dip ranging from 0.25 to 3 percentage points this time. After the release of the first cut-off list, over 25% seats are filled in various Delhi University colleges. According to the PU officials the maximum admissions were in the BA programme -- 1,889 against 10,172 seats.

Similarly, there were 1,602 admissions in B.Com (Hons) against the total 6,483 seats.

BCOM (HONS) and ECONOMICS (HONS) Cut-Offs To Get Slight Dip

Most on-campus and off-campus colleges said the cutoff would dip marginally for popular courses such as BCom (Hons) and Economics (Hons) but other subjects can see bigger dips.

SECOND CUT-OFF List Admission Schedule

The admissions process under the second cut-off list will start form today and will run till Wednesday.

Here is a list of popular Delhi University colleges with the admissions after the first cut-off list.

  • Hindu College admitted 946 students
  • Ramjas admitted 810 students
  • Gargi College for Women took in 769 students
  • Miranda House 630 students

SRCC With Only 0.25 Percent DIP
Shri Ram College of Commerce (SRCC) will bring out a second cut off list for both the subjects it offers but the dip won't be more than 0.25 percentage points. Under the first list, the cutoff for BCom (Hons) was 97.75 per cent and for Economics (Hons) it was 98.50 per cent.

Hans Raj College will release a second cut-off list for all subjects. "Popular courses will drop it by 0.25 percentage points for general candidates. The rest is likely to go down by 1 percentage points.

DELHI UNIVERSITY Will Release 5 Cut-Off Lists
This year, the university will only release five cutoff lists and if there are seats left it will conduct a centralised counselling to fill the seats in colleges.

Last year, the university had announced 11 cut off lists with the last list being released in August end.
