IMU-Mumbai Port campus (MERI) invites applications from qualified candidates for one year pre-sea training course at IMU-Mumbai port campus MERI.

Eligibility Conditions

• Graduation in BE (Mechanical Engineering/Naval Architecture disciplines from recognized institutes with minimum marks of 50% in a final year and with minimum 50% Marks in the English language at 10th or 12th in degree exam

N.B. There will be a 5% relaxation in eligibility marks; however, it will not apply to English marks. Relaxation of 5% in English marks will be applicable to candidates who are native of the Lakshadweep and Andaman and Nicobar islands and belong to their Scheduled Tribes and who and both of whose parents were born in those islands and belong to the Scheduled Tribes of those islands.

Age

• Maximum 28 years on the date of commencements of training i.e. 1^st January 2019. Age relaxation of five years for SC/ST candidates.

Selection criteria

• Through merit and interview for non-sponsored candidates. Direct admission for sponsored candidates.

Fee

• Rs. 3,50,000/- (subject to revision by Indian Maritime University, from time to time)

Registration Fee

• Rs. 10,000/- by D.D. issued by a nationalized bank in the name of "Indian Maritime University Mumbai port Campus" Payable at Mumbai.

Processing Fee

• Rs. 1,000/- by D.D. issued by a Nationalized Bank in the name of "Indian Maritime University Mumbai Port Campus" payable at Mumbai
