Institute of Management, Nirma University, Ahmadabad invites applications for admission in following programmes 2019

Eligibility Conditions

MBA

A three-year bachelor's degree (10+2+3) or equivalent in any discipline from a recognized university with at least 50% aggregate marks or equivalent CGPA.
Candidates appearing in the final year of the Bachelor’s Degree can also apply provided they furnish the proof of having met with the minimum eligibility criteria by September 30, 2019.

Admission process

Admission Procedure (General Category and NRI/NRI Sponsored/Foreign students/Person of Indian origin holding foreign passport/Gulf Countries and South East Asia Categories)

PhD

A Master's degree or a professional degree declared equivalent to the Master’s Degree by the corresponding Statutory Regulatory body with at least 55% marks in aggregate or its equivalent Grade “B” in the UGC 7 Point Scale. Candidates appearing in final examination can also apply provided they satisfy the eligibility criteria by June 30, 2019.

How to apply?

MBA

Users should register a new account to log into the online application form. The login details will be used for filling the admission form and checking the status of the application later.
After a successful login, the admission form will be displayed.
Applicants should complete the online application form and submit the same along with a non-refundable admission processing fee of Rs.1500/- +other applicable taxes. The payment should be made online by credit/debit/net banking.

Candidates applying under categories such as NRI/NRI Sponsored/Foreign students/Person of Indian origin holding foreign passport/Gulf Countries and South East Asia candidates should make non-refundable admission processing fee of Rs. 6,000/- + other applicable taxes.

PhD

Applicants should complete the online application form with a non-refundable admission processing fee of Rs.1,250/- + applicable taxes. The payment should be made online by credit card/debit card/net banking.

Selection Process:

Entrance Test:

The applicants are required to appear for the Entrance Test to be conducted by the Institute of Management, Nirma University. However, the candidates who are UGC NET (including JRF)/SLAT/GATE/GPAT/Teacher Fellowship/M.Phil qualified are exempted from the Admission Test. The Test will be held on April 28, 2019, at Ahmedabad, Mumbai Delhi, Indore, and Jaipur as deemed suitable by the Institute.

Note: The Institute reserves the right to drop or add any test center.

The Admission Test will have Two Sections as given below:

Each Section will carry 30 Questions, and the duration of the Test will be one hour. The Test will be objective type with multiple choice questions.

Personal Interview:

The candidates obtaining a minimum of 50% marks in the Admission Test will qualify for the Personal Interview.
The final selection for admission would be based on the candidate’s performance in the Admission Test and Personal Interview.
