Symbiosis Institute of Design invites applications for admission four years Bachelor of Design (B.Des.) Programme in the following disciplines
B.Des. (Bachelor of Design)
- Communication Design (Graphic, User Experience, Animation, Video Film
- Industrial Design (Product Design, Interior Space)
- Fashion Design
- Fashion Communication
Eligibility Conditions for B.Des Programme
Essential:
- A candidate must have passed 10+2 (any stream; eg. Science, Commerce, Arts, etc.) or equivalent OR 10+3 diploma approved by State Board of Technical Education with minimum 50% aggregate marks obtained in the final examination to be eligible for the above-mentioned program. A candidate appearing for the final examination of 10+2 grade or 10+3 Diploma program may also apply provided the results of the examination should have been declared by June of the admission year or prior to be eligible for the above-mentioned program.
Desirable:
- The candidate should possess Creative Aptitude and Skills necessary to pursue Design Education as well as adaptability to the situations, which the profession demands. Candidates with the relevant portfolio would be preferred.
Admission Procedure
For Indian Students
- All Indian students are required to take the Symbiosis Entrance Exam for Design (SEED), which will be held on 1st Saturday of May of the admission year. No candidate is entitled to seek admission to SID without a valid SEED score. Validity of SET score is for one year only.
