Beant College of Engineering and Technology, Gurdaspur Invites applications for admission to B.Sc. Agriculture (Hons.), BCA, B.Com (Hons.) programmes 2019-20

Eligibility Conditions

B.Sc. Agriculture (Hons)

• All those candidates who have passed the 10+2 or equivalent examination in Science/Agriculture with Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics/Biology/ Agriculture with at least 50% marks (45% marks in case of candidate belonging to reserved category) in aggregate from any board recognized or established by Central/State Government through a legislation

B.Com. (Hons.)

• Having passed at least +2 examination of Punjab Board School Education or any other examination recognized as equivalent thereto with at least: 33% marks in the aggregate in case of commerce students who have passed 10+2 examination.

OR

• 40% for the students who have opted for two of the following commerce subjects in 10+2:
  Accountancy, Business studies, Economics, Mathematics, Office Management and Secretarial Practice, Principle and Practice of Insurance, Tax Procedure and Practice

OR

• 45% for other candidates.

B.C.A

• All those candidates who have passed the 10+2 or its equivalent examination in any stream conducted by a recognized board/university/council.

OR

• Those candidates who have passed their matriculation examination and have also passed three-year diploma in any trade from Punjab State Board of Technical Education and Industrial Training, Chandigarh or such examination from any other recognized State Board of Technical Education or Sant Longowal Institute of Engineering & Technology (SLIET).

Pre-Registration for B.Tech, M.Tech, M.Sc. (Physics and Chemistry) has also started.
