IIT-Delhi: To Offer Design Course B.Des Admissions Through UCEED

The Indian Institute of Technology (IIT) Delhi is all set to offer admissions to a four-year program in Bachelor of Design (B.Des) from the academic session 2022-2023. The admissions will be on the basis of the Under-Graduate Common Entrance Examination for Design (UCEED).

It will have a total of 20 seats initially open to students of all specializations, i.e.,

• Arts,
• Commerce, and
• Science

The program will be offered by the Institute’s Department of Design, which came into existence in 2017.

UCEED 2022 Examination: How to apply?

Interested and eligible candidates can register for the Under-Graduate Entrance Examination for Design at UCEED official website, i.e., “www.uceed.iitb.ac.in”.

• Visit the official websites of UCEED
• Click on the “Registration” link
• Fill the form with the required credentials
• Upload the scanned documents
• Pay the Application Fee
• Click on the “Download” option

UCEED 2022: Exam Pattern

• UCEED will be held in the Computer-Based test mode
• UCEED Examination will have two Sections - Part A and Part B
• Both Sections consist of Multiple Choice Questions (MCQs) as well as numerical questions
• The exam will comprise a total of 300 marks
• There will be No Negative Marking
