Forest Research Institute Invites Applications for Admission to Master of Science (M.Sc.) Courses

All the eligible candidates are invited for admission to the following programmes:
- M.Sc. Forestry
- M.Sc. Environment Management
- M.Sc. Wood Science & Technology
- M.Sc. Cellulose & Paper Technology
Eligibility Conditions
For M.Sc. Forestry:
- Three years B.Sc. with at least one of the subjects Botany, Chemistry, Geology, Mathematics, Physics and Zoology or B.Sc. Agriculture or Forestry.
For M.Sc. Environment Management:
- Three years B.Sc. with at least one of the subjects - Botany, Zoology, Environment or B.Sc. Forestry or Agriculture or BE/B.Tech in Environment Science.
For M.Sc. Wood Science & Technology:
- B.Sc. with Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics or B.Sc. Forestry.
For M.Sc. Cellulose & Paper Technology:
- Three years Bachelor’s degree in Science with Chemistry as one of the subjects or B.E. / B.Tech. (Chemical or Mechanical Engineering).
Note
Candidates having 50% or above marks in general category and 45% marks or SC / ST are eligible to apply
How to Apply
- Information Bulletin and Application Form can be obtained by Post by submitting a Bank Draft for Rs.1000/- payable at Dehradun in favour of “Registrar, FRI (Deemed) University, P.O.I.P.E., Kaulagarh Road, Dehradun - 248195”.
- Application form will also be available from the counter of The Union Bank of India (FRI branch, Dehradun).
- A candidate who wants to apply two or more courses has to fill up separate form for each course.
