Birla Institute of Technology (BIT) Mesra Invites Application for Admission to MBA Program

All the eligible candidates are invited for full-time Master of Business Administration program for the session 2012-2014.

Eligibility Conditions

Candidates must hold a bachelor's degree or equivalent qualification of any of the universities incorporated by an act of the central or state legislatures in India or other educational institutions established by an act of parliament or declared to be deemed as a university under section 3 of UGC Act, 1956, or possess an equivalent qualification recognized by the Ministry of HRD, Government of India / AIU. This degree must entail a minimum of three years of education after completing higher secondary schooling [Class 12 or equivalent] (10+2+3 system).

How to Apply

• Candidates may apply online only by logging onto the official website of BIT, Mesra: http://www.bitmesra.ac.in/ from   15^th Jan, 2012 onwards.
• In addition, candidates have to download the bank challan form of SBI Bank and ICICI bank from the above mentioned website and use the same to pay the application fee (non-refundable) of Rs 2000/- (Rs 1200/- for SC / ST candidates) from the respective banks (list of banks given on the website).
• The application fee must be deposited in favor of “Birla Institute of Technology”. After paying the application fee, one will get a challan number which should be entered online to complete the application. Print out of the duly filled in application form, along with all requisite documents (list is given on the website), should be submitted to The office of Dean Admission & Academic Coordination, Birla Institute of Technology, Mesra, Ranchi - 835215, latest by   26^th March, 2012.

Selection Procedure

Candidates will be selected on the basis of percentile scored in CAT 2011 / CMAT 2012, followed by counseling.

Note

BIT Mesra will conduct group discussion (GD) / personal interview (PI) for selecting candidates.
