Applications are invited from eligible candidates by S.N.Bose National Centre for Basic Sciences (SNBNCBS) for following Ph.D Programs.

• Integrated Ph.D program in Physical Sciences
• Ph.D program in Physical, Chemical & Biological Sciences.

Eligibility Conditions

• For Integrated Ph.D Program in Physical Sciences
  • B.Sc with the first class/division with honors/major in Physics with Mathematics as one of the subjects.
• For Ph.D Program in Physical, Chemical & Biological Sciences
  • M.Sc with first class/division in Physics, Chemistry & Biology and/or its interdisciplinary branches with Mathematics as one of the subjects.

• Candidates can apply online by logging onto the institute’s official website http://www.bose.res.in/.
• Candidates have to submit their application forms online by 8^th Feb, 2012. The direct link for the application is http://bose.res.in/admission.htm.

Selection procedure

• Candidates have to attend the written test (BOSE TEST 2012-PMSc & IPh.D) – on Sunday, the 4^th March 2012 at different centers throughout the country. Successful candidates will be called for interview at a later date.
