All India Institute of Hygiene and Public Health Invites Applications for Admission to Master of Veterinary Public Health and Nursing Education

Applications are invited from eligible candidates for admission to the following programmes

• Master of Veterinary Public Health (M.V.P.H.) – 2 years
• Diploma in Nursing Education & Administration (Community Health) [DNEA(CH)] – 1 year

Eligibility Conditions

For M.V.P.H.: MBBS or B.V.S.C. & A.H. degree of the University of Calcutta or any university recognized by the University of Calcutta. Preference will be given to those candidates who are

• i) deputed by the Central / State Government or other recognized bodies or
• ii) having at least one year experience in the field of Veterinary Science.

For Nursing Education:

• i) Certificate / Diploma course in General Nursing and Midwifery from any of the State Nursing Institutions of India or its equivalent from any other country and registered with respective Nursing Councils.
• ii) Minimum of Two years of working experience after basic qualification in a reputed health facility in any clinical area of Nursing or Community Nursing
• Male Nurses must have prescribed training recognized by Nursing Council in lieu of Midwifery.
