National Institute of Technology (NIT), Rourkela Invites Application for Admission to MBA Program

All the eligible candidates are invited for admission to MBA program offered by School of Management for 2012.

Eligibility Conditions

• The minimum eligibility criterion is B.Tech degree in any branch of engineering with 60% marks or 6.5 CGPA.
• Applicants who have qualified in reputed national or international tests for admission to business schools and secured high scores will get preference.
• The candidates appearing B.Tech (final semester) examination may also apply for the above course.

• Candidates are required to apply online by filling in the online application by visiting the institute’s official website: http://www.nitrkl.ac.in/.
• The direct link for online application is: http://application.nitrkl.ac.in.
• However, the online application will be activated from   8^th Feb, 2012 onwards. The last date to fill in the online application is   2^nd April, 2012.

Selection Procedure

• Applicants satisfying minimum eligibility criteria will be called for group discussion and personal interview. If the number of applicants will be reasonably high, the department may set a higher score in academic career as the minimum qualifying criteria to be called for interview.
• Final selection will be based on group discussion and personal interview conducted by the institute, academic career and score of national or international tests for admission to business schools.
